Why do I make small art? Well, I do it for a number of reasons. With the trend on tiny homes, things have started to shrink if you haven’t noticed. With tiny art, you have an option to use many different size of mats and frames to fit your taste and space. You also have the option to mount several art pieces within on frame to make an interesting statement.
For my own reasons, I like the ability to work outside my studio. Being able to get out of the studio can help with inspiration. Working in a coffee shop or outdoors can add a whole new dimension to your art. And if you select the right seat, you won’t have to worry about having people look over your shoulder.
With it being small art, it is easy carry all the supplies you need in a messenger bag. So, in short you can say small is beautiful.
