Now don’t get me wrong.  I LOVE THE HOLIDAYS!  But, when they are over, it’s time to get back to work.  Or as I like to say, “sharpen the pencil and get to drawing!”   And this years first drawing is titled: “The First Cast of the Season.”  The reference photo was from a trip to Wyoming.  And the drawing is what I call a mini drawing.  It is 21/2 inches by 23/4 inch.  Some folks why do you make such small drawings?  Like many artist, each drawing presents a new challenge and each one allows me the opportunity to stretch as an artist.  And when you stretch yourself, growth will follow.  And what a great way to start the year, with growth.
