What an interesting question. Why do I create art? I feel somewhat like answering it like in the ol philosophy class. Why not? But, I can not leave that as my answer. I create art because I must. It is in my soul. I can not remember a time when I was not creating art in some form. It may have only been a doodle on a note pad, but I still consider it art. When I was young, it always seemed that I had easy access to paper, pencils and crayons. Limited art supplies, but still tools to make art. As I study different artist, I take note of their tools. Amazing as it sounds, I have seen some unbelievable art work created to crayons.
So back to the original question. Why I create? Because I must!
