That is one question that I get asked. Where do you find inspiration? For each artist, that can be from many areas. For me, it can be just a general scene, an angle of an item or the lighting or lack of light on a scene. Now I say scene, in that my art work is done of outdoor scenes. Growing up as an outdoors kid, it was what I know best and appreciate and share with each person that views my art work.
I grew up on a steady diet of art work from Wayne Wills, Norman Rockwell and other great artist. And to me that is one important factor of art work, is to take the viewer to a special place by a fond memory. To me, that is one of the main things that art does. It moves the viewer. And that is the ultimate reason for inspiration.
