I always enjoy listening to music when drawing and painting.  It is a great way to get the creative juices flowing.  Some of my favorite musicians include: Joyce Cooling, Kim Waters and Larry Carlton

My preference is smooth jazz.  The lively aspect of many of the songs just bring an energy to my work.  I find it amazing on how my concentration on drawing and painting is so much better when listening to my music choice.

I wasn’t sure if I was the only artist who found inspiration by listening to music.  After doing just a little research, I found that I wasn’t the only one.  It was also interesting to see the variety of music that other artist listen too.    But for my creativity, give me some smooth jazz.
