Every once in a while, an artist has to step back and look at his home base with an artist’s eye.  An artist is like many people.  They take their home area seriously – we don’t appreciate what we have.   So many times, our town is too small, too boring, backwards, you can fill in the blank.  My kids and reading The Chung Report has helped me take a closer look at what can make your home special.

So, I am starting on this journey to re-discover what makes Wichita special to me.  I will be starting this series and I don’t know where it will end up.  But I know that what I find will be what makes the Heart and Soul of my town special to me.   If you see me out and about taking photos or making a sketch, please stop and say hi.
