This number 5 in my series. It is of the Old Mill Tasty Shop in downtown Wichita. The shop has been a landmark in Wichita since 1932. They make sodas the old-fashioned way from a working, marble countered soda fountain. They even have a peanut butter, banana and honey sandwich. They also have a daily blue-plate special. Now as far as I am concerned, that is comfort food at its finest. And that is part of what makes the heart and soul of a community.
